My First Experience Running a School Farm

Our school started a small farm this term, and I joined the management team. My job is to take care of the tomato plants. Every morning, I water them and check for pests. At first, some leaves turned yellow. The biology teacher told me it was due to too much water. I adjusted the watering schedule, and the plants recovered. Last month, we picked the first batch of tomatoes. They were small but juicy. We sold them at the school canteen and used the money to buy new seeds. Holding the fresh tomato, I felt proud. Running the farm taught me responsibility. I learned that growing food needs patience and careful observation.
