The Joy of Helping Others
Last weekend, I volunteered to help clean a community park with my classmates, and it was a meaningful experience. When we arrived, the park was full of trash—plastic bottles, food wrappers, and fallen branches. We divided into groups: some picked up trash, some swept the paths, and others watered the plants.
At first, it was tiring, but when we saw the park getting cleaner and cleaner, we felt happy and motivated. An old man who was walking his dog thanked us, and that made us feel even better. After three hours, the park looked brand new, with clean paths and green plants. Helping others not only makes the world a better place but also brings us a sense of happiness and achievement. I want to do more volunteer work in the future.
